Lovely, high-quality product, delivered quickly. The only improvement, that I have seen noted in other reviews, would be the inclusion of a paper copy of the picture so you can keep track of colours when you need to do extra coats but can't see the actual number on the canvas anymore. An extra advantage would be perhaps some inset boxes with zoomed in captures of some of the more tiny details as it has been a bit of a struggle to identify numbers in some of the smaller areas.
Otherwise an excellent product and I would definitely order again!
I am about half way through on this piece. So far it seems to be the best one I have done. As far as number coverage is concerned, not too bad except the red will not cover no matter what I do. I have sometimes gone over the number with white which seem to help. Make sure you take a photo before you start as when you have coloured a number there is no sheet with this for reference. Quality is very good, I chose the framed option which is nicely done. Good service and they actually answer any queries promptly by email. More Frida kahlo please! Maybe a Diego to go with her .
I am blown away with the finished painting, and so is everyone I show it to. The numbers were clear and the paint pots were very generous when one colour was required for a large area. The canvas, paint and packaging was superior to many I’ve ordered in the past. I found painting on a ready framed canvas comfortable and I was also able to paint around the edges of the canvas. I’d definitely order one ready framed again.
I like to go over certain colours a few times to get a nice finish, but when it’s had one or two coats I’m not completely sure what the colour exactly is as the number is covered up, so my only criticism is the lack of a copy of the painting on a printed sheet which identifies the numbers on the painting. But other than this, I’m really pleased with the kit and would definitely buy more from this company in the future.
A joy to paint and I absolutely love the finished painting. The only thing I changed on it was the background colour. If I had used the colour supplied it would have taken 2 coats and there is so much detailed cutting in to do I changed it to jet black and it was done in 1 coat . A highly recommended painting to do .
